    Hello all,

This is my first post to the forum. I recently acquired my first IWC, the Aquatimer 2000 ref. IW3568-10, the black/yellow version on rubber strap. I wanted to have the bracelet too, so I ordered one from the AD at the same time I bought the watch. The bracelet arrived and it was all brushed. Having seen pictures online, I have mostly seen bracelets with polished center links on the black/yellow 3568. My bracelet came in a small box with the ref. IWA55585.

I would be most grateful, if anyone could shed some light to this matter. Do I have a proper bracelet for my watch? Are both types sold on the black/yellow version?

A bonus question, which I hope might be the answer I'm looking for: what is the difference between 3568-01 and 3568-08?

Any and all help would be truly appreciated. Oh, and btw I just love this watch!

    Cheers,
    Antti

I think the earlier version came with polished center links and simple pusher clasp while the later version with all-brushed surface and a more solid double-pusher clasp (unfortunately neither have the micro-adjust feature, hopefully the AT 2014 models will soon have...). I think both changes were executed more or less at the same time, around 2011-2012. So both bracelet versions are authentic. Hope this helps.

Wow, thank you for the quick reply! I'm glad I have the right bracelet for my watch. I was a little afraid that it might be for the chronograph or the white face or something like that.

Micro adjustment would be nice indeed. I am right now at a place where I can't achieve the optimal comfort. I'm trying to order a half-link from my AD. I wish substituting one full link with two half links would give me the one or two millimeters I'd like. Other than that the bracelet is close to perfect.

I really appreciate the help Roberto.

    Thanks,
    Antti

    You're welcome!
As a matter of fact these watches (both the AT 2000 and the chronographs) are screaming out for the micro adjust clasp. (I miss that one too on my 376706.) So far IWC hasn't listened, maybe in the near future for the 2014 introduced series - the 3768 chronograph and the others too. Folding clasps for the AT rubber straps are also extremely missing - something like that of for the Yacht Club Chrono rubber strap. Only size and pin size for the holes should be modified and that's it.

I'm not sure if I want IWC to bring out a micro adjustment clasp for my bracelet. I guess that woud depend on how expensive it would be for me to replace the current one. =) I can live with this, since I'm really pleased with the watch in every other detail.

Before this I've been mostly into Breitlings and I used to wonder how come entry level IWC can be so much more expensive than entry level Breitling, both using ETA. Now that I have one, I don't need to wonder anymore. I still think Breitling makes decent and good quality watches, but judging by my AT, IWC surpasses my previous watches in almost every aspect.

Thank you once again for the help! Now I'll do the classic newbie move and vanish into cyberspace after getting what I wanted. I feel that as a total IWC n00b I don't have enough knowledge to contribute to this forum. Maybe I'll resurface after wisening up a little.

    Cheers,
    Antti

No thanks, Peter. I'm quite happy with this. In fact this bracelet is the reason I acquired my watch new from an AD. These are hard to find in the second hand market. They do turn up from time to time, but asking prices seem to be pretty high. I hope you find one sooner rather than later.

    Cheers,

    Peter,

Are you still in the market for a bracelet for your 3568? Thanks,
