    Hello all AT-Fans!

    Just one question concerning the safe dive system of the Aquatimer IW329003:

    Are there actually holes in the save dive system differential case so that the
    mechanism is floated with water?

    If then, why?

    Hello Stevie and welcome to the forum. Yes, there are holes that allow water
    into the system differential case. As you can see from the diagram below, the
    area where the externel bezel contacts the drive wheel is exposed as the
    underside of the bezel is not sealed. Therefore this area will ineveitably
    flood when the watch is submerged. I believe the holes were intended to allow
    for the mechanism to be flushed with fresh water after a dive.
