Hi everyone. I have been lurking on these forums for a few months while doing my research, and I finally decided it was time to say hello.
I just picked up my first IWC, a Pilot’s Watch Mark XX. I have always admired the brand for its "form follows function" philosophy and the clean design language. There is something about the legibility and the history of the Mark series that just clicked for me in a way other pilot watches haven't.
I am looking forward to learning more about the heritage here, especially regarding the older calibers. I am already starting to eye some vintage dress pieces from the 60s, so I am sure I will have plenty of questions for the experts in the vintage sub-forum soon.
