I wanted to show the detail of the hands on this Ingenieur 766. Almost every other vintage Inge. I've seen has slivers of lume in the center of the hands- these are solid. I've seen pictures of maybe two other ones with hands like this.
I spoke with two of our forum members who wrote the amazing paper on dial variations of Ingenieurs (use the search function to read this great article), Larry Seiden and David Ter Molen, and they agree this might have been an option, although less common, for these watches (since most have the sliver of lume).
Anyway, I just thought this detail might be of some interest, and would love to learn more.
