Hi All,
Looking at buying the watch in the attached photos, but I'm concerned it may
not be authentic (either outright counterfeit, or an IWC movement in an
aftermarket case/fake dial). Any opinions here? It's listed as a "Cal 83 from
the 1960s."
Would love your help and expertise. Thank you!
Watch is fine in my opinion, describtion is wrong, it is not a cal 83, but 89,
timewize is correct around 1960.
Thanks so much! How can you tell it's cal 89? Also, I take it you think the
case and dial appear to be original? I hadn't seen many examples with only the
evens showing on the dial, and so wasn't sure.
Indeed all looks genuine,the cal 83 has a subsecond dial at 6 o clock.
