Yesterday, my wife's IWC Golf Club came back from Schaffhausen. It went in for a tune up and spa treatment. I am thrilled with what is now a new watch. I don't have many before pictures but the case needed a polish for sure. The Wizards did their usual magnificent job.

One before shot: Nicks and dings were evident.

    After:

Now the case is shiny and ding free. The dial was not touched, but I am unsure if they replaced the hands. I am particularly fond of the script logo on the dial.

At my request, they did not replace the fish crown, or if they did it came back as a new fish crown.

My wife is a very happy camper. The Golf Club is now back on her wrist. I don't get to wear it, btw.

Great job they did! It looks great.
Good to know they listened and left the fish crown and dial untouched

That's indeed a watch looking like new! Good job! Too bad you don't get to wear it, but on the other hand (no pun intended) you can look at it from a different angle :)

    Kind regards,

    Clemens

Congrats Bill. You can't expect something else than that from Schaffhausen, can you?

A wonderful restoration. IWC did a similar job for my Golf-Club which I bought in a distressed state in the hope that it could be restored. I was delighted with the result.

Bill, I have been holding back ....

What an amazing job those Wizards Of Schaffhausen have realized once again! I know how much Mary appreciated that watch before - and now, it's back on her wrist and good to go for another 45 yearsat least.

Thanks for posting the wonderful shots and please do tell Mary I wish her well to wear that beauty in good health!
