I spent two weeks on vacation touring in South Africa. No IWC adventures to report. I did not take my laptop so I found it difficult to get onto the Forum. Occasional glimpses using the itouch. Logging on yesterday, I was overwhelmed by the quantity, quality and diversity of posts from Nad's fantastic photo documentaries of SIHH to Catherine's enigmatic contributions which I am still working on. Congrats to all of you who have bought new IWCs. It's nice to be back. We'll at least it softens the blow of returning to a cold, grey and damp UK. I am also reunited with my IWCs. I took another watch brand because South Africa is not the place to show off expensive timepieces. Mrs E wore her latest horological purchase, a Swatch. I don't want to ignite that debate again.
