Now back to the Castle and gardens in Arcen on Friday, day two fo the GTG.

In the afternoon, after the castle tour, we headed for another special treat.
With beer constantly on our agenda, we visited the 2nd largest brewery in the
Netherlands, Hertog Jan. Here even more attendees joined our group for the
tour and the luncheon.
The gang gets larger when a brewery tour, beer, and food are available:
Joining us were Tonny, Hans Brasseler from Hong Kong, Stephanie Homberger and
Walter Volpe from SH, Jon Uggo also from CH.
As we come to expect, our mild manned moderator explained how a Belgian
dresses up for a formal ball when they don't' have a costume.
Back to the brewery
The cellar
We were given a special samples of the brewery's products. One of the
bottles, was LE Grand Prestige. I got #43 of 3500, but unfortunately for me
it was confiscated by Security on my return flight to the USA. The beer came
in wooden box with a wood burned picture of a BP.
I forgot to get a picutre of the special beers and the box. Maybe someone
else, who got to keep theirs, can post a picture.

From the brewery we took a stroll for a couple of kilometers back to Arcen,
but we stopped at a local ice-cream shot to whet out appetite.
Once again I am stymed by the 30 pics per day limit. Sorry come back for more
on another day. This project my takes weeks to finish. Ugh!!!!!!
