Due to the limitation on the number of photos that can be posted per day, the
job of compiling the shots and doing a narrative is not so easy. This is just
a short review of our activity on Friday evening in Amsterdam after our return
    from Arcen.

It took a couple of hours to drive from the Brewery and Ice Cream Parlor back
to Amsterdam. It was a Friday and traffic at times was a challenge, but we
made it. We went directly to the evening's venue at the top of the A'DAM
Tower across from the Central Train Station. We had cocktails and dinner atop
the building. You have a commanding view of the city. A couple of guys took
the challenge and rode on the swing ride that protrudes from the edge of the
    tippy top of the Tower.

Upon arrival at the Central Train Station, you take a ferry boat over to the
    A'DAM tower.

It was a challenge to go on into the Tower given the view at the entrance.

If you look closely at the Tower, you can see the swing set on the top right
    of structure.

The Tower at night is impressive as well.

As I said, the city view is spectacular.

There is a glass covered hole in the floor of the bar area where you look
directly down to street level. The first step is a bitch.

Once we arrived, we were all surprised to find Nad in attendance. We didn't
know he was going to join us for the weekend.

A few of the others getting set for dinner.

After catching up over cocktails and dinner those of us in the same hotel,
retired for some post dinner conversation and I understand some Single Malt
    consumption.

More later on our Saturday lunch in Vondel Park, our walk over to the IWC
Boutique, and the very popular Canal Boat ride. Lastly, in another post, the
biggest event is the Saturday evening dinner at Yamazato Restaurant. It is
the highlight of the weekend and not to be missed event for those coming in
    the future.

Sorry about the delay in posting, but the picture limitation is getting in the
    way of a prompt post.

Very nice Bill. Holland is a great venue to host such events. Being new to
this forum, is this event always hosted in the Netherlands for I would like to
join one year? Also for the N.American like minded IWC collectors, do you
know of such same annual get togethers on this side of the pond?

    Thank you.

    Andre,

I am the BB in the BBAMSGTG and live on this side of the Pond, as you say. I
live in Philadelphia. This event started 8 years ago when I had an annual
June trip to Europe for business. It has expanded from just a few collectors
attending to 25 to 30 each year recently. This year we had attendees from not
only all over Europe, but also from Hong Kong and Canada, plus yours truly
    from USA.

There has not been a similiar event in the USA, but when IWC collector guests
come from abroad, we often have a GTG at the NYC IWC Flaghsip Boutique.

Stay tuned for future annoucnements. I often post here with news of NYC GTGs
and certainly about the dates for the BBAMSGTG.
