Not only has 3714 become an icon and one of IWC's best of all time, but the black dial on brown strap looks absolutely fantastic!

Thanks very much. Can someone tell me, is there an easy way of telling what year an IWC watch was made from the watch itself? Is there a code or marking?

Very nice combo, always loved this watch. This with white dial and gold markers was suppose to be my first IWC, but a few others came in the way :-)

The 3714 was my first IWC and I was delighted with it, however it then led to my buying a 5001 two years later and a 3717 this year, so congratulations and you have been warned that it's not likely to end at just the one watch and this forum is just the place to encourage that!

What is the strap colour? It looks so nice.
