Nice combo on a watch that is such a work-horse for IWC. It, with it's mother the 3712, are amazingly popular for many years- and I can see why!

one quick question for the 3714.
when you adjust the time and you go back and forth between two minute marks, the hour hands seems to be moving loosely too. is this normal?
Congratulations and indeed it is a lovely watch. The hour hand will move if you are changing the time but I do not know what you mean loosely? show it to an official IWC agent they will be able to have a look at it and solve any problem if needed. I have mine for nearly nine years and for six years I wore it daily, never had or have any problems! Enjoy.
Congrats and welcome Henry,
I do also prefer the tang buckle rather than the deployment buckle on this watch.
Welcome Henry
Beautiful watch, Iv'e had my eye on this model for years to join my collection. One on theese days I will pull the trigger!

Congratulations, it is a stunning watch to start your IWC collection with.
As others have said we are sure it will not be the last IWC.
Enjoy it and wear it in good health.

This is a great watch/strap combination: the black dial makes it sporty, the brown strap adds to this, I like that contrast. I assume you had to ask the AD to replace the original black strap? Great to think about this.
Kind regards,
Paul

One of my favorite dials on any watch, ever!
Guys,
Can you help me identify which exactly 3714 is this picture?
It looks like IW371445, only hours and arrows are white and not golden.
Or is it only angle of picture?
I fell in love with this watch, however it takes me half year salary to buy it.
But one day, no matter when...
I'm considering the 3714 white dial/gold markers to add to my collection. can someone confirm if the heartbeat is a ETA 2892-A2 ?
Thanks,
Andy
