I am looking at purchase 5002 that I believe to be a transitional, but which has the fish crown rather than the probus crown. Is it possible that it could be a transitional piece or do they all have the 5004/probus crown. The serial starts with 289 if that is any help. I know that the crown of the slow beat 5002 was often replaced by the probus crown. Were there any high beat 51110 movements in the transitional 5002 that could have had the fish crown? Thanks for any help.

a slow beat 5002. My 5002T has a serial of 316xxxx and a Probus crown.

That is what I thought. The gentleman that is selling it is convinced that it is a transitional 5002 with the high beat movement. I am at a bit of a loss since he is quite the watch aficionado.
