Big Pilot dial

Please note the pic of this BP dial, the colour of the border of the date window seems gold while I think it should be "steel" could this be possible in a watch dated 2002, probably a first serie? or it could be a "pic" effect ?

Reflection?

Hi roby,

I think it could be due to some sort of reflection of the surroundings but I'm not 100% sure. I have a BP 5004 (newer model) myself and it doesn't have a reflective border around the date window.
