I’m not a big Big Pilot fan as some of you may know – with a Top Gun, and a recent acquisition of a 5002 with a fish crown that is still being “touched up”, and also not a fan of yellow, rose or red gold – this one however had me thinking for quite a while. The reddish-gold as well as the darker reddish-orange hue resulting from the crystal, dial and marker colours to me gives this piece a very subtle, glowing & alluring feel. To those who have the chance, I’d say do go see it. You won’t regret spending time with it, although I can’t say the same about your wallet :)
And this is me signing off for the long weekend where some diving over Christmas in a neighboring country await – and on land my Yacht Club and Ingenieur providing wrist-companionship.
