Big Pilot Perpetual Calendar caliber 51614 incorrect date

Has anyone experienced an incorrect date on the Big Pilot Perpetual Calendar caliber 51614? Today it's showing Friday September 11, 2014, where as it should show September 12. Any idea why it's showing the incorrect date? Is that a fault with the algorithm or should I be taking to be serviced at IWC?

I might try this: Pull the crown out fully to hack / stop the watch. Let it sit for a couple of days. Then, use the rapid advance feature, the first stop when pulling out the crown, to select the correct day of the week / date. See if the watch self corrects for the day / date. Be sure not to go backwards in setting the day date. That is a big no-no. I suspect it wont' work, but it's worth a try. I may be corrected by experts whether or not this is an option to try.

Your only option then is to return the watch for IWC Factory Service.
