I had an attack of envy today - in the October edition of Watch International there is an article about Robert Parker and he's wearing a beautiful Big Pilot with a blue dial. Is the blue dial a rare version or limited edition and can one be obtained today?

It's a limited edition in Platinum

    Hi David,

I think it's sold out a long time already, the 5002-02. It was limited to 500 pieces and came out in 2003.

    Kind regards,

    Clemens

    It sound like

the Ref 500202 Big Pilot in Platinum. It was a limited edition of 500.

    Cheers from the cellar

PS I don't have Watch International as yet so I have not seen the article.

    Beautiful BP........

here is a link to a video of John Mayer showing his Platinum BP.
You have to make it through a minute or so to see the watch.

    Take Care,

That's almost the same weight as a 3227

    Hi Isobars,

I have no problem with the weight of the Inge so if your BP in Platinum is too heavy, just send it to me :-)

    Kind regards,

    Cinq
