Bling Bling Wrist Shots.

Personally, and I may be on my own with this one, I enjoy seeing pics of forum members IWC's. Actually, I love it. It's great to see what other people have in their collections.

Some people moan about wrist shots and how it's all "bling bling" these days. I disagree. That makes about as much sense as someone complaining about there being too much about vintage watches or technical questions. Isn't this an IWC forum? Isn't it supposed to be a bit of fun for collectors? Isn't there room for wrist shots as well as full on technical questions and vintage IWC's? Surely.

So here's a bling bling wrist shot. I may be the only one who posts one these days. Oh well.

Awesome shot Jim. Love that watch. Had the opportunity to pick one up recently and didn't. Still kicking myself.

Here is a wristshot of the watch I am wearing the last few days. The Vintage Collection Pilot's Watch is one of the watches that looks best on the wrist, so a wristshot is called for. There is no bling here as far as I am concerned.

The Vintage Collection Pilot's Watch is one of my favourites, as it is a bit special and different. I like the turning bezel, that is so well made. By the way, the AD where I bought the watch in 2009 didn't know the bezel could be turned.

Although the picture is not made today, by chance it shows the correct date of today: 12+7=19. As you may know, I use the marker as a manually operated date indicator. 31 would be 12+12+7. The method supposes that you know you are at the start, the middle or the end of the month.

Thanks for posting the pic Paul. Indeed, that is a beautiful watch. I find it looks even better in the flesh. (Still looks cool in the pic). This one is a definite for my collection at some point.

And I disagree with some comments made in another thread regarding lack of posts and information in the Vintage section. In fact there are several interesting posts involving Pocket Watches.

Wrist Shots also bring people together with a common love for IWC watches.
