I know someone somewhere is going to say ...marks biased! And be it so...

But, in all honesty we must play to the man here. Alan likes blue on his wrist - it's a known fact. If there is any doubt, then one should have seen his face on trying on my Deep Two recently whilst in NYC. He is not a diver, but the look on his face said it all - he was ready to sign up for a full diving course on the spot, just to qualify to get the blue of the Deep Two bezel authorized by his misses, onto his wrist!

And now we all know, there is blue and there are shades of blue. AND THEN THERE IS THIS BLUE DIALED PORTUGUESE PERPETUAL...

Sorry to say folks, but Alan has a brilliant collection of watches, with a fantastic BP DFB focus at it's center. He also has some other nice (read: very nice) watches in the collection which are have various tints of blue. However, that collection of his can and will be tremendously complemented by the addition of this blue dialed PPPC.

    Just my 2 cents worth!

    Alan,

You MUST go Portuguese this time, the other BP PPC is too close, very pretty AND not a Portuguese.

    Let us know...

    I am leaning that way.
@Mark may have to go 5032 rather than 5021.
    But still cogitating....

No more cogitating allowed. Go for the Portuguese so I can have a vicarious experience.

In the spirit of easing the suffering of decision-making, maybe they'll give you a deal on the pair...

    Alan,

I have a certain sense of relief when decisions like this have to be made by someone else, LOL!!!!!!!!

With five pages of replies, you've heard it all......buy both, there's no right or wrong choice, you need to add a Portuguese to your collection, etc......

I've been fortunate enough to also have tried both and must say that the WG BPPC is a monster of a watch and the PPC is the epitome of perfection and elegance!

If given the choice, I'd be losing sleep over the dilemma because I couldn't decide which one I love most!!!!!!

Please do keep us posted in the event the you decide to add another PC to your already "Blue" collection, LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!
