new owner of a Portuguese Automatic 7 days for few months, I keep my precious in a box in my safe until my birthday in January. I open the box almost everyday just to watch it and to wind it. Since the purchase in last June, I can see that my Portuguese is about 4 to 15 seconds fast per day.
I know from my recent discussion with IWC that the tolerance is about 0 to 7 seconds per day when you are wearing a watch. But what about a watch that stays only in a box. Should I bring back the watch for checking? Or is that normal that the Portguese is exceeding the 7 seconds when you don't use it?
As a new owner and member of IWC's Forum, I really want to receive your advice.
