Hi All,
The weather over the weekend was great so I decided to head out for brekky / brunch and thought I would do it Top Gun style.
Now we all know that when preparing for a flight, you need to make sure you have the right equipment.
To start with, you need to have a suitable flight jacket -
Followed by gloves:
You also need to make sure you have the right helmet to keep the glare from your eyes and more importantly on a crisp winter morning, keep your ears warm:
Before getting aboard, you also need to make sure you know where you are going and the right navigational tools to get you there -
And last but not least you need to have your fighter jet prepped and fuelled, ready to go:
With such good weather I decided to get out of town, it was one of those beautiful crisp winter mornings where it is about 6 degrees c and sunny so headed to a place called the Grey Gum Cafe which is about 130 km's out of Sydney, and have to say that once I got there, it was sensational. In true Top Gun style, I managed to cover the distance in just under 90 minutes and luckily air traffic control (or the police) noticed me which was even better.
This was the relaxing sight when I got there:
And as I had left a little late and it was closer to lunch than breakfast by the time I got there, I decided to go with the breakfast of champions:
Not the healthiest choice but who can argue with a bucket of coffee and a great burger after a brisk ride in such a setting!
Cheers for now.
Ben
