    Hi-
New to the forum.  I'm a long time IWC fan and collector.

I have a couple of portuguese watches including the Canada Boutique edition and a Petite Prince BP.

So here is the question.  I have an opportunity to buy the Bronze BP.  What are your general thoughts? I don't have any bronze or gold watches in my collection.  I want to make sure I spend the money on a watch that will stand the test of time.

I've been blessed to have a great collection so this is not a first or third watch.  Just a watch I like, but want to make sure I am not "bandwagonning" the bronze craze.

    Thoughts?

    Thanks!

Welcome to the forum and congrats on the two beauties you have in your collection, very nice start.
The BP is an icon in the IWC collection, bronze is special, I like it a lot ( look at the CF4, Aquatimer in bronze )
Know that a bronze case will change from shiny to a case with a patina.
And every case will be different over some time.
If you like that, go for it.

I went for it. I saw it in person...very bright color with shine before the patina. The dial and strap are very “vintage” thus the heritage title.

I am very very happy with it. I will post pictures as it ages.

    Hi
I am also flirting with the idea of the bronze.
it seems very interesting and the patina would be unique for every watch....
    cheers
