It's not often one finds a real vintage piece, which is still in it's almost original conditions as it was, when it left Schaffhausen.
I was lucky enough to stumble across this Cal. 57T americaine (crown set as opposed to lever set) out there, and with some motivation from MF added it to my collection. It arrived today, and I am utterly amazed. Built in 1929 - its' in almost the same condition it was the day it left IWC originally, and on checking it's clear it's never been refurbished, or polished up.
Another good IWC day here ..
