    Question for you experts....I picked up this 8541 with a movement that is
    marked "Adjusted to five (5) positions". Would there be any difference between
    it and a non-adjuted movement, besides the time it took for adjusting? Overall
    quality?

    I think the difference are the taxes paid on import into certain countries.

    Maybe the Ranfft link talks about that; didn't have time to click on it yet.
