I dropped my Portugieser from about 1-1.2m.
The minute hand stops at 23 and 46 respectively.
The second indicator is not working at all
T stopwatch function works runs smoothly to wherever the minute hand is at the given time, it does not pass the minute hand at all.

I am trying to ascertain what they cost of repair might be.

Sorry to hear of your misfortune.
An IWC service for a Chronograph can be between $800 to $1200.
There might be additional costs to replace parts that are damaged.

When you drop off your IWC at a Boutique or AD, they will send it to a repair centre where a diagnostic will be done. They will tell you what is wrong and give you a repair estimate. You then have the decision to give them the go-ahead or they will return the watch to you.

    Good Luck with the repair.
