How many revolutions are required to fully wind (68 hrs.) the calibre 89365? The manual states, only to wind the watch for approximately 20 revolutions as this will ensure maximum accuracy.

Fully inaccurate, I guess, but quite practical: I count 1,5 to 2 hours for every wind movement, so for a 89365 35 to 45 wind movements would suffice when the watch isn't moving when you start.

    Kind regards,
    Paul

I have no experience with the 89365 but if you hold it close to your ear when winding, you may be able to hear a distinct clicking sound when it's fully wound and the overwinding protection kicks in.

A difficult question, since it's rare for your watch to be 100% unwound. Also, technically power reserve refers to autonomy --how long a watch will keep running.

While this doesn't directly answer your question, this recent article on watch winding may be helpful (click here).

Finally, I beg to differ with your instructions. A watch will be most accurate when fully wound.
