I have a 1943 men's rectangular IWC in a three piece 18K rose gold case with black dial and I think caliber 62 movement. Since 1941 to 1946 is a blackout period for the company catalog, can anyone help me find the correct reference number for this model?

Very interesting timepiece, nothing that is seen frequently - Congrats!

I've learned IWC didn't use ref numbers for the models back then. So it cannot be identified that easy.

Let's hope to get some comments from the really experienced vintage collectors!

    Best
