My mark xviii has a scratch in caseback airplane engraving.
I know that scratches in stainless steel can easily be polished.
But a surface of the airplane engraving doesn't seem to be pure stainless steel.
I heard that IWC doesn't polish caseback in their official service. (Please correct me if i'm wrong)
Is there anyone who has tried to polish that engraving?

I'm pretty sure they will do that if asked for it. Usually the result looks perfect.
