Although I love my 3224-01 because it's so understated--to the point it gets
zero attention--I've been wanting to add some spice and visual "pop" to the
carbon fiber Ingenieur for some time now, so I reused a strap I had and
replaced the original inlay.
Voila! I chose yellow to enhances the yellow accents on the dial--and because
it's my favorite color. Specifically, it's a strong and bold Signal Yellow to
match the F1 theme of this Ingenieur. Lizard skin was used for the inlay
because of the small scales, which better matches the small "scales" of the
carbon fiber's weave pattern.
I still have a standard strap, so going from a sunshine-in-your-face look to
unassuming G-Shock-style is just a strap change away.
