    Dear Forummers,

I am now an official IWC aficionado.
After already two this year (AT 2000 and a cal.89), I decided that I needed an upgrade.

It had to be in-house, and well...a limited edition too.

    Any guesses?

Wow, the suspense is killing me, LOL!!!!!!!!!!

You already have a classic 89 and a dive AT, so I am thinking that you are adding a LE Pilot ;-)

Please keep us posted and show some photos!!!!!

Let's say I was too late for the pilot line, and wanted to take some advance for next year :-)

My guess would also be Vintage Ingenieur. And since it's a limited edition, there are two possibilities: the Laureus model with the blue dial or maybe the Platinum version with the white dial?

    Kind regards,

    Clemens

Cinq --there's also the limited edition for the Italian market, but what you see here can't be that (wrong strap).

    Me too...vote VC

But more important, is the ramp up factor here! From 0 to 3 in 1 year ...and a real nice mix. Poor fellow, like me (and so many of you) smitten with the uberduo form of the virus....both vintage and contempoary in the collection.

Fanttastic, now the wait for the reveal.

    Hi Guillaume,

I follow on the trend - VC Ingenieur, Laureus maybe?

Don't keep us waiting too long... ;-)

    Cheers!

Here are already a couple of shots.
    The dial is STUNNING!

switching from a dark blue to a midnight blue...

I guess I will soon change the strap, this one is not my favorite. Unfortunately an AD in my city refused to sell me a Santoni. How come?

    img155.imageshack.us/img155/1949/imag1689o.jpg

Since I am pretty busy, I will play a bit with my photographic skills and the VC in a few weeks, and try to post some decent picts!

Thanks for watching and congrats to all that tried to guess what was my last acquisition!

Congratulations! Did you get it at the Geneva Boutique? If so, I tried on your watch a week ago. :) It's a real beauty. Picking up on Dick's thread, the red tip on the second hand is a great detail.

Great addiction to your previous watches!
I stick to pilots and ATs myself,
But saw a great NOS ingenieur AMG titanium.....
    Perhaps end this year
(just bought an ATvintage, so have to get permission from the wife LOL)

Well Done ! The Laureus Inge is such a classic design and the "special blue" is icing on the cake.

Can't understand why an AD would not order the Santoni...ODD. Did they give you a reason? What I can tell you is the Dark Brown Santoni is a knockout on the VC- Laureus Inge. It changes the look of that LE to "unbelievable".

    Enjoy in good health,

    Andy

    Thanks to all!
@vishal: did you knew you are one of many here to blame? the 3 VC ingenieurs you have, and the pictures you posted made me pull the trigger! Thanks for that!

    @David:
No, this one is not from Geneva! But I skipped the occasion at Geneva so you could get it. You know, after an AT comes an ingy...that's how it starts :-)

    @BAS DEKKERS:
good luck with that AMG! Though I like the modern ingenieurs, they are just too big for my wrist! I guess I'll have to stick to an SL...too bad!

@Andy: about the Santoni: they told me IWC had guidelines to follow and that they didn't wanted their customers to put some straps that might not visually fit their watches. Anyway, I'll go to Geneva, I guess I'll obtain the strap there without any problem.
