If you're thinking about ordering a CF3 --the IWC Collectors' Forum Pilot's Chronograph-- then the best time is to do so now, and before the end of June.
On or about July 1, we will stop taking any preferences for numbers and any remaining pieces will be distributed to some key boutiques. You may be able to buy a watch at the boutique, but you won't be able to request a number beyond whatever they have in stock and you won't be assured of getting a watch on the first shipment. Also, while not 100% certain we're still hopefully planning a possible get-together in Schaffhausen in October only for CF3 owners, and I can't assure non-forum purchasers that they will be invited.
