Could someone please clarify how you confirm you would like to purchase if you are lucky enough to make the cut of the proposed 150 pieces? Do I ask my AD? Or register my interest here? Any info/advice would be much appreciated.

You are way too early for that. We haven't yet decided on distribution. Please don't go to an AD --they know nothing about this and most likely will not be able to sell forum watches. Once this gets figured out I will post more here.

An active forum participant like you should be able to get one for sure.

    Color me intrigued. Delighted. Curious.

    Great work Michael!

Gosh Michael, as long as requests are coming in for preferred numbers, make mine #001. If that doesn't work, how about #007 ?

    Thanks for the consideration.

    Andy

    Dear 007,

Andy, in all due respect - 001 is reserved for MF.

Although I have a gut feeling he would prefer to have # 002.

Great news. I'll keep my checkbook in suspended animation until more details are available. I wouldn't want to fritter away any money on inessentials like food, clothing or shelter.

Given the limited number, if the decision to select 150 names will be based on the number of postings here over some period, let's see how many here will now start posting random things and one liners... I'll keep my hopes low for now that my name will be in the selected lot. At least I can collect some ridiculously small interest from the piggy-bank for saving some funds.

Oh, by the way, even you might like the color.

Thank you, Michael, promising news. I just hope IWC learned from previous experience and it will be a genuine, classic IWC and not a "made-up" marketing model like a Spitfire, Miramar, Top Gun or such. We will see.

An exciting and interesting development and albeit only partial news I am sure is highly appreciated.

Michael I have a suggestion. Its so obvious I presume that its already taken into consideration but one never knows.

The number of pieces should be decided based on those who commit to buy.

For example: Once the commitment to buy and pay is endorsed then these are produced.

    For example: 01/88 to 88/88 or 01/184 to 184/184.ยจ

150 is rather a random number and having 105/150 when only perhaps 75 are sold and produced would be odd.

I am sure the good folks at Schaffhausen are on top of these supply - demand logistics but just wanted to share.

Looking forward to the next revealing details with great anticipation.

    Hi Mark,

I got a good laugh at your comment "reserved for MF" and fully agree. My comment was intended to be a bit humorous as I recognize the #1 of a LE is always awarded to a VIP like Michael in this case.

Now my 007 request...that would be my first choice if possible. BTW, Mark can you tell me when a LE is issued, would it be engraved as 007/150 or 7/150 ?

    Cheers,

    Andy

Thanks Bill. I'm hoping that's the case so if I'm fortunate enough to secure a CF3 and lucky enough to get my desire of 007, it will be engraved that way.

Fingers crossed and anxious for the big reveal.

    Best,

    Andy

Hi, I think if you read the 1st post Michael said the watches will just have an individual number, not an XXX/XXX. Which I am guessing is different to previous ones. Unless I am reading it wrong?

Amazing news Michael, thank you very much! I am sure that you've been putting a lot of yourself into this endeavor and we all owe you for it.

As everybody else I can't wait to know more, but count me in.

    Cheers!

I would bet that an individually numbered LE will be xxx/xxx. The only variation on the numbering routine were the models that just noted: One of xxx.
