Hi, I think if you read the 1st post Michael said the watches will just have an individual number, not an XXX/XXX. Which I am guessing is different to previous ones. Unless I am reading it wrong?

I would bet that an individually numbered LE will be xxx/xxx. The only variation on the numbering routine were the models that just noted: One of xxx.

Ahhh, I see. That makes sense. I did read it wrong. :-)

Sigh, now I rue the fact that I've been reading posts for a while now without actually posting anything.

Could someone please clarify how you confirm you would like to purchase if you are lucky enough to make the cut of the proposed 150 pieces? Do I ask my AD? Or register my interest here? Any info/advice would be much appreciated.

You are way too early for that. We haven't yet decided on distribution. Please don't go to an AD --they know nothing about this and most likely will not be able to sell forum watches. Once this gets figured out I will post more here.

An active forum participant like you should be able to get one for sure.

Michael, thank you for clarifying. Great news and I can't wait to see more details.

    Jarrod

Look at the number of replies here. Even if we (not very reasonably) assume that all of the people who replied in this post would want such a watch, we are still far away from 150 pieces. So I think you can relax.

Perhaps. But keep in mind that replies aren't necessarily a good indicator. As of my writing there were "only" 73 replies but also there were 3061 views.

To my thinking the reason people can relax is price. At around, say, 10,000 CHF watches --anywhere-- don't fly off the shelf. But I could be wrong given what might be a low limitation.

One forum member suggested to me we produce as many as there are paid orders. The problem with that is that we need a minimum to do this project, and variable production runs, given the need toorder psrts, are not really logistically possible.

So no matter what we do, there will either be too few or too many. I'm betting we'll have slightly too many but those will sell in a few more months.

I think also that this is the absolutely the right way to go - not frustrate the interested persons here by making the limitation too small.

This is very exciting news and I am eager to learn more about this project. Could I reserve number 39 to match my CFI 1. Looking forward to learning more.

Just to clarify: the numbering will be xxx/150, engraved on the case back.

Personally, I'd like number 1 to go for a charity auction, like the CFI. That's why my CFI is 002/100.

Numbering XXX/150 keeps my hopes alive for 007/150 and my hats off to you Michael for your wishes for 001/150.

I think that is a great idea.

If at all possible, I would like to put my name on #22. My lucky number. Only if it is possible. Cheers.

I think Daniel Craig may get #007 and become an 'Ambassador', perhaps wear in the next Bond film.

He's the best Bond yet in my opinion so that would be great!!
