I visited my AD today along with Evan which I just met today to pick up his CFDV. The watch is so great and I never expected to like it that much. I have originaly signed for it because of what it represents and not so because of the Da Vinci design.

MF had brought with him the watch last January in Geneva and back then it seemed allright to me. (I still have second thoughts about the bracelet) but since it's a gift I can cope with it.
The watch looks fantastic and everyone who signed for it will be a happy and pleased owner.Thank God I did not turn it down.

Anyway it was a great day today and Evan is such a kind and gentle guy not to mention a keen collector.
It was a privillege Evan and I sure hope to meet again pretty soon my friend with some more time to spend too.

I really never thought I ll like the watch so much...

    You are absolutely correct...

my friend. I love this watch and I have no "buyers remorse" for my purchase. To the contrary, it looks more superb everytime I put the CFDV on my wrist! You will look back and complement yourself on your decision! :-))

    Best regards,
    Jim

    "You look back...

and compliment yourself on your decision." Exactly! This is my test for whether a watch was worth acquiring. It is a great feeling.

Agreed 100% Argiris, even the bracelet grows on me

The more I wear it (and by the way - this watch wears real well - feels so balanced and comfortable on the wrist), the more and more I begin to think how it is possible, that I had reservations intially on the shape of this watch?

Great to hear that the rest of you who ordered are collecting your CFDV's - MF - have you received yours yet?

    Best regards
    Mark

After wearing it for a day...

...I can only agree with you Arg :)
And did I say that it looked really good on your wrist too? It sure did.

BTW, I just realized that the CFDV fills a empty spot in my collection as the watch assumes a sporty or dressy look depending on the rest of the attire. It is really interesting and hard to explain, but I'm very happy having a watch like this that I can wear on a wide variety of occations.

Argiris it was a great pleasure meating you and Natassa, and regret not having more time to hang out with you. I hope you cross the Atlantic one of these days so I can have the opportunity and pleasure of returning your hospitality.

I'll post some pictures and more comments when I get back home from sunny Greece.

    Cheers,
    Evan
