Does anyone have a manual for the IW3741?

I seem to remember some instructions/advice on only changing the date when the
time hands are in a certain position? Ring any bells with anyone?

    Thanks

Generally the date should never be changed when the hands are between 9 pm and
3 am as during this time the date-change-mechanism is in process. You must
therefore be sure, that your watch is not set within this "dangerzone" when
    manually changing the date.

This applies to IWC watches in general. I don't think that the IW3741 is an
exception here. As I think, in the past it was said that the "dangerzone"
started already at 8 pm, I would include that extra hour to be safe!

    Hi Paul

I would like to clarify the details of the so called DANGER ZONE. As there is
a lot of confusion about it

This ONLY applies to using the QUICKSET adjustment with the crown pulled to
first position during the time of 9pm to approximately 2am.

You can ALWAYS change the time using the hand setting ie crown pulled to
position 2. In this position, there are no restrictions
