There used to be a wonderful database for Mark 10s to check the history and
authenticity but it seems to have disappeared. Can anyone comment on thei one
    M13173?.Thanks, Larry

    Hi Larry,

MM Henry's data base is no longer available. It used to be in the Internet
Wayback Machine but I cannot find it there anymore.

    Finally found it;

    web.archive.org/web/20150730204740/http://www.time514.com/MarkX.htm

    Cheers from the cellar

Thank you for your scholarly efforts of finding MM Henry's database. I
didn't even know the web archive existed!

    HI Mark,

I tried 3x to post the dial pic. Maybe there's a limit on the number of
photos. Let me try again. Nope, I can't get it to show up. It tells me that
    phot was successfully upload,
    though

Hi Larry. It is authentic. The dial is a IWC replacement, and the clue is
the way the 7 is cut buy the seconds register. Also luminosity is no longer
Radium, it is either Tritium of Superluminova.

The price of these watches has gone up a bit in the last couple of years and,
as in many collectibles, one pays extra for condition. These watches had a
hard military life and fiding an original one in very good condition is not
    easy.

You got me thinking. I found this NATO Mk10 dial that's been sitting in my
desk for years. I wanted to see how close it was to Tony's original Mk10.

Hi Larry. Excellent NATO dial. IMHO the NATO dial is the second most
desirable dial for that watch, after the original.

Some collectors refer to the IWC W.W.W. as Mark X but this is incorrect
because it is an Army watch and not RAF. The Army never used that
    nomenclature.
