A fabulous result! The vuvuzelas resounded around the harbour area here in Cape Town when Switzeralnd went one up against mighty Spain. As it became apparent that Spain could not regain the initiative, there was dancing in street. I suspect few watches manufactured in Schaffhausen, or any other Swiss factory, this afternoon. If watches were completed, I am not sure I want one.
Above are some snaps I took while Switzerland achieved a historic win. I have been wearing the Collectors Forum GMT on recent overseas trips. However, this time, I decided to take the CFI. Something tough for the terraces on Friday night when England meet Algeria.
Incidentally, a rather important Royal was sat close to me on the flight from London. However, my attention was drawn away from a RIR towards another passenger who was wearing the platinum version of the BP father & son combo. Although I exchanged words with RIR, I was far too humble make a comment to that owner of the platinum BP.
