    Hi everyone,
I've had the good fortune to add an IWC electronic watch to my collection. I believe it is from the early 1970s. Would I be able to pinpoint the year of manufacure from the serial number?
    Andy

Yes, google "Date Your IWC" for an app that will provide you data on the watch.

Thanks Bill. That was very useful - movement made in 1971, case 72-75. It's close enough to 1973 for me to call it a birth year watch.
