Does anyone know when these display signs were in the ADs? My best guess is the 1970s but I really do not know.

The clues are in Michael's catalog project (link below)
While we see the use of IWC in the "eye" in some of the earlier catalogues it is really the 1966 edition that it is predominately displayed - indeed it is on every page. I'd suggest that the signs date from the early to mid 1960's as the "eye" seems rarely used in the 1970's.
