I had a very busy and noisy weekend at Silverstone and did not get an opportunity to visit the Forum. I took dozens of photos but none of watches. I wore my Wempe regulator on Saturday and the BP5002 on Sunday.

I would love to bump into that "little thing" myself someday, Ralph! It is far beyond my reach...but I would enjoy having it on my wrist for even just a moment. Thanks for the pic!

Hey Bob - have you been drinking ! How can one not appreciate the skill, talent and unique craftmanship (or craftwomanship) behind such a splendid way to represent time passing towards the future.
I must say, I see the point of both statements. As much as I can admire skill, craftmanship, I sometimes notice that the end result is not "it". It certainly says more about the viewer than anything else, and we are talking about exquisite luxury goods. That said, I rather see the original Grande Complication, where the size of the watch is more in line with the size of the movement: with the Portuguese the subdials are quite centered, cleverly hidden by the Portuguese number ring. Of course, if someone would lend it to me for five minutes, I would very proudly wear it, and return it with a bleeding heart.
