Hi Forum members, I'm hoping you can help... I walked past a pawn brokers in Central London and an IWC pilots chronograph caught my eye. Having tried it on, I'm in love with this watch and want to go and purchase tomorrow. The watch does not have box and Papers but is being sold by a very reputable firm who have traded since 1710. I'm sure it's not a fake but would love to know a bit more about this model I have googled the case number on the back and have drawn a blank. I'm hoping some on this forum can help the number on the back is 3017650. The clasp is also unusual it's leather similar to a deployment strap but not quite- it has a metal clasp with a 'nipple' which slots into strap? Sorry couldn't think how else to describe! I have pictures but unsure how to post on here.
Any help advice will be gratefully received!
