Andy, I think most people will understand without me running the risk here to get my explanation deleted.

Late check in. I have been out of touch the last couple of days, but the DFB was on my wrist during this time. The DFB has rapidly become one of my major wrist time IWC's. Maybe that's because it's new, but basically it's because the watch really appeals to me.

The touch of yellow:

Great strap too. The red is very distinctive color and the stamped design is perfect:

Outstanding lume: In daylight and dark.

The DFB engraving:

Individually numbered. The National Team members have their jersey numbers on their DFB.

My two BP:

Football does not really grab me (gave up following football after semie final '66 World Cup, England v Portugal) and especially a foreign national team but not only is that a great looking BP but I love how the engraving has been done. Nice and sharp, proper engraving rather than light cutting or a low quality hammer strike. Bill's photos demonstrate his prowess once again, exposure, WB, focus and composition all bang on. Shame BP's don't go on my wrist for my taste but that watch does appeal.

The 2 red hands on the sub-dial gives the watch a distinctive look that appeals to me every time I look at it and it gives the watch a well balanced color combination overall.

So far we only have 5 DFB bers, where are the rest?
