I’ve been considering this watch for a few days, but have concerns regarding the dial. It’s very clean and under close scrutiny I can see it has some age, just not certain how much. The primary concern that I have is the Roman numeral IX, and the manner in which the X seems to be misaligned. Let’s assume the dial is original. Do you think it’s possible that the X came unglued at some point and the repositioning was done in a sloppy manner?Perhaps it is lens distortion? Is it a redial done poorly? My appreciation in advance. Thank you!

hello, hard to tell, could be a redial, could be a not so perfect fix, but could also be original, not sure to tell you what it really is from that picture.

I do appreciate your reply! I decided to purchase the watch and I’m very pleased with it. In regard to the dial, I’ve tried to educate myself regarding identifying re-dials. My very limited knowledge in the subject has led me to believe the watch is all original. Under very powerful magnification there is nothing to suggest that the dial was redone. No misapplied paint, sloppiness in resetting the indices, incorrect font/hands, etc. One thing I learned in another forum is to carefully examine the thickness of the ink used to print the logo, as well as looking to see if the ink is thick enough to allow light to shine on the sides of a letter(s) in the script. This watch checks both boxes. So, to summarize, I feel very fortunate to have purchased such a nice example. I have uploaded photos that I took.

May have been more original with yellow gold index's.

They’re yellow gold. For some reason they appear darker in the photo. But, thank you for your

     observation.

They certainly don't look it from here, they look near enough the exact colour of the dial.
