Here are my Pallweber IWC watches from 1885 and 1886. When digital had another meaning than it has today. But still these are amazing watches and very special to hear a click every 60 seconds.
The one on the top needs some work but I bought this one for the special and unique dial. It is handpainted. The only similar dial I ever saw was in the IWC museum. And regarding the details and the style, I believe it is from the same painter. A lovely scene from a lake with the Swiss mountains in the background.

Here are the two movements that are in prefect working order. As soon as the others are ready, I will post them too.

Wow. As the saying goes, kinda true, and not to be read necessarily in a bad way, but they sure don't make 'em like they used to.

The dials are so clean and the off-white cream color is really has a nice soft glow to it and gives it that 132 and 131 year old look respectively.

    Thanks for sharing Tonny.

    Cheers.

Those three are truly stunning Tonny - big congrats on securing them!

I only wish IWC could make a modern Pallweber for the wrist - that would be a dreampiece :-)
