if so, what's the next must-have on your list???
my current wish is getting a ref. 1850.
will be interesting to see what are the current tendencies....

The ref 1850 is a good choice. I like this one very much and maybe this one will come into the collection one day.
Looking forward this year for two new pieces and I just bought a watch from the nineties. Reveal soon to come.

Indeed Tonny, a very nice model from the times of 'good old IWC'...
driven by 8541, which could also be seen...
    a real treat...
actually, I would also love to see photos from owners of this ref and get some impressions..

It's a bit more complicated with me. Technically, I like my watches to be state of the art, using every modern provision to make sure they run as good as they can, them being accurate and robust, and to make sure that they are beautifully finished. When it comes to looks, I like my watches to look subdued and inspired by the beautiful shapes of the past, when, to me, they understood more about timeless beauty than right now, when to make your point, some extravaganza is called for that is not for me.

The IWC watch that I like most in my collection is the watch that I took with me on my latest holiday as dinner watch, the steel Vintage Collection Portuguese: to me this is the perfect watch for these occasions.

    Kind regards,
    Paul
