In a large lot of watch crowns I found this large IWC signed crown.
All I can Find about IWC Crowns is that they were signed with the Fish and later on with "Probus Scafussia" but nothing about IWC signed Crowns.
Is there anyone who can point me in the right direction?
The crown measures:
6,85 mm diameter
3.5 mm thick
0,9 mm tap size
2.5-2.6 watch tube size
never saw one like this. I am curious what the result of your question will be.
Indeed a rarity. I've never come across or seen such a crown before.
This of course does not mean that it's not a genuine IWC crown - but if so, certainly a scarce one!
Thank you for your answers. Intried to contact the IWC heritage department via the message system of the IWC site but every time I get an error and cannot send my message. I have found an E-mail adress (heritage@iwc.com) but Acoording to the forum where I have found this adress it is unresponsive.
Is there another way to contact IWC about the crowns authenticity?
