Hi guys,
I've been polluting this forum a few times with my bad marriage (well I still like some of them ;) ).
Now I guess no one will tell me: "just leave that one away".
I opened the box this morning... and took a few shots.

A fabulous watch --a true classic. Congratulations.
Thanks Michael. I appreciate.

Great watch, and a true classic indeed.
Enjoy and wear it in good health.
Kind regards,
Clemens
+1!!!
Excellent choice. This watch is indeed a classic on its own. You might try a brown strap on it some day, I think that would even more complement this beautifull dial. Wear her in good health!
Congratulations Christophe!
Excellent choice, a true icon watch.
Well done!
Superfluous!! Great watch. Congratulations - you have fine taste.
Bingo! You hit the mark dead on with this classic IWC. Congratulations.
Thanks for your comments guys.
I wish I can afford to buy some more IWCs in the future...
Have all a nice w/e!
Christophe.
PS: for the brown strap, from your opinion guys, do you have any advice: IWC, other brands ?
Oh yeah - that's a beautiful watch! I love it!
Much better than any marriage. It is an IWC classic. I agree with Norbert - better yet on a brown strap. Somoene here showed a picture of that combination and it was fabulous.
Great pictures and congratulations on a beautiful watch.
Christophe, now this is a marriage made in heaven! You have tied the knot there, for life to an absolutely stunning and classic beauty.
Your journey, played out here - skirting the dangers of "burnt monies" has been to say the least a scary one and I for one am pleased that the forum members were united in their messages to you.
Your new watch IS the watch you wanted, and it's a great one. Welcome to the world of IWC and wear it in good health.
Best regards
Mark
Hooray, money spent on a cracker of a watch and the very same second IWC for me. If you get a brown strap do not forget they darken with age and sweat. Have not gone down the route yet but it is on the list to do and buy. Thank heavens you did not buy into a marriage and waste your funds!
Christophe -if you are in Paris or visit there, within a few blocks of each other, centrally located, are two retail store custom watch strap makers. If you can't easily find them, e-mail me.
Hi guys,
thanks a lot not only for your nice comments, but also for your support and guidance during those last 2 months. Reaching this forum has been (is) a great experience to me. I had the chance to have a couple of valuable exchanges with some members from that time.
I'll try to leverage on those forst lessons to be helpful to the others coming here (and out of here) for answers...
I'll try to keep on learning, and be humble using the knowledge I got from you.
Michael, I am not in Paris (I have the chance to live under more sunny days... ;) ), but I come in the city time to time... So yes, your advices are highly requested... I email you in 2 sec. ;)
May you have all a nice week-end!
Christophe.
