    Hi All, I'm interested in purchasing a 1950s or early 1960s IWC Cal. 89, and
    I'm
    considering this one. I'm not seeing anything fishy here with regard to
    originality or condition of the dial, case and movement, but I'm sure there
    are bigger brains than mine on this board who can answer more definitively.
    Any
    help would be appreciated. I'm also curious if the crown looks correct.

    I'm not any kind of dealer or reseller. Just looking for a dress watch for my
    budding vintage collection and want to be choosy, as I plan on keeping it for
    many years.

    does anyone have a gold backing csae cover for sale as shown in this photo? I
    am hoping to purchase one for engraving as a wedding. gift.cheers
