Double birthday

This year my favorite watch turns 40! What a timeless beauty, maybe a bit like Marilyn ;-)

Today is also my birthday, all I can say is that I'm exactly 10% older than the watch.

Mine is in her 42nd year and sadly I am 44% older than my watch.
So it will be better to abandon an open movement Marilyn like picture like Heiko and close with Sam's "As time goes by...";-)

Congratulations Bob! I think your watch will look as good as it does now in another forty years and I am sure the same can't be said for Marilyn :-)

Enjoy your birthday, next year you will only be 9.8% older than your watch, the percentual difference is slowly decreasing and when your watch is 80, the difference will only be 5% :-)
