Edouard Burchard watch

Hello,
I would like some information about this watch which has been in my collection for about 30 years now. Which year does it date from approximately and is it rare?
It is in perfect condition, and 14K. On the work stamped JWC and on the dust cover 'Edouard Burchard'.

As the name Edouard Burchard is given both on the dial and the dome presumably this is the retailer, who bought the watch via a wholesaler and had it branded "ex works" by IWC.

We know several retailers who had their watches branded on the dial, sometimes as well on the dome and a few even on the movement.

If you do a little bit internet research, you will find that Ed. Burchard was a Russian watch retailer with its origin in Switzerland.

He sold high end watches to the Russian Royals and noblemen alike Moser and Gabus.
