Europe's largest Portuguese Prepetual Calendar ?

On a recent trip to Venice, I came across the largest PPC I have ever seen:

We sailed into Venice on a cruise ship late last year. I would LOVE to have seen this as we sailed in, that would have been great.

It's not the length of time to service but the tools to service such a piece are more used to service heavy engineering. Think Leo can dispense with a loupe as well!

I'd love to give it a go Greg. Before discovering the macroscopically engineered world of watchmaking, I spent most school holidays dismounting, overhauling and rebuilding car engines and gearboxes in my father's garage. Skills and tools that would definitely translate to servicing an XXXL-PPC....
